Once our Power Rite Asia representatives have visited and audited potential suppliers in Asia, they will submit their quotations to our headquarters in New Brunswick. In addition to the quotation, they also submit a copy of their supplier audit, along with their recommendations.

Once our New Brunswick office has evaluated all of the proposals from Asia, we make a decision as to which factory offers the best option for the project. The decision is based on the results of the audits, as well as pricing. Quality is the most heavily weighed factor in the decision making process.

When a customer evaluates a proposal from Power Rite, they should consider the following:

  1. Power Rite buys millions of dollars from our supplier partners in Asia. This affords us tremendous leverage and therefore our pricing is often lower than pricing the customer might be quoted if they contacted Asia directly.
  2. Power Rite will quote all tooling charges separately from the unit price, unless otherwise instructed by the customer.
  3. Power Rite often offers flexible payment options for those customers that are credit worthy.
  4. The customer purchases directly from Power Rite, a U.S. company. This reduces risk exponentially compared to purchasing from a Asian company.
  5. Power Rite will take care of all duties, customs charges, customs clearance, ocean freight, etc. There are no surprise charges often experienced when trying to import on your own.
  6. If a U.S. manufacturer tries to deal direct with a Asian factory and has problems, they often have no recourse. Because of the volume of business we do with our Asian suppliers, we have tremendous leverage to get any possible problems resolved quickly and efficiently.
